Hmm I'm in the same boat!
I'm a part-time (obviously) tutor and looking for a more secure, non-precarious job

I tried a sales job last week -- it wasn't for me. It was a bit too intense. I want to work in retail though. On-the-side jobs like these are good for me, as I'll be a full-time student in September. I need the money. A job can help me find the money

I've applied at Metro, Food Basics, EB Games, Hudson Bay...

Hopefully they contact me back. I think at least one will
It can be an arduous process, but I like to think as an adventure or shopping. I like both of them, so they are heartwarming for me. The shopping analogy is good because it's about selecting what I like, who I like, how I like...It's like a suit: it either fits me or it doesn't. Sometimes it both fits and un-fits me. My point: Job hunting can be a mixed bag. I like to think of the joy that arises from it, and the pleasures that are to come
