He is my favorite character in the series, and I really liked how he died. The whole obsession to prove himself and love for his artwork was cool. Just that I think the excuse of Sasuke saving himself was a reach. Kishi should have planned that better cause sis.

Now the edo tensei part was pretty much ******** tho. It was so dumb. They did him and Sasori wrong.

Started rewatching the other day, I just finished the Haku/Zabuza arc. Their deaths still get me, all these years later...

The writing is so smart in that first arc. Naruto, Haku, and Inari all basically having the same backstory (loss of parents/abandonment) and showing how they all coped in different ways, woo. The way it sets the backdrop for the rest of Naruto's story and character.

Honestly, seeing how it all starts out (I don't know if Naruto actually ends up being Hokage or not in the end?), Naruto really has the setup to be the best underdog story of all time. Not even exaggerating.

He does but then he just becomes a bad father in the process He reached his dream but his children suffer since he's never home. He literally sent a clone to attend his daughters birthday and sent his son an email telling him he was proud of him.

Him and Itachi have the best background stories imo.

He had the best background story along with Sasuke and WHILE Sasuke's story had little to none plot holes, Naruto's had one GIANT glaring plot hole. How in GOD's name did he find out his father was the 4th hokage only in Shippuden When I think about it I get like so confused. He's literally identical to his father and NO one told him who his father was.

Telling Naruto who his father at a young age could've pushed him to be so much better as a ninja rather than the rush ahead mess he was.

I'm afraid at looking at the posts in this thread because I don't want to be spoiled...but I am zooming through Naruto. It's so good and addicting.

The Naruto vs Sasuke fight was one of the best anime fights I've watched.

I'm currently on 70ish of shippuden. I'm skipping all of the fillers.

Sakura is not half as bad as people say she is . Her fight with sasori was great and she really stuck to her promise of not being helpless anymore. The fact that she herself tried to hit Sasuke when they all reunited says a lot too. People say she's worse than Lucy from Fairy Tail but I honestly don't think so and I love Lucy.

Sakura imo is a horrible person. The fact she treated Naruto so horrible when he has saved her life multiple times while sasuke doesn't even care about her. I'm shocked Sakura and sasuke are married It seems kinda forced. Sakura literally knows NOTHING about sasuke except that he's attractive. The fact that sasuke has been travelin the world for "redemption" while sakura is stuck at home with a child who barely knows father is true enough anything to get dicked down I guess. A lot of naurto fans are mad it wasn't Sasunaru or narusaku

Episode 82 of Shippuden (Asuma's funeral) is my favorite episode of Naruto I think.

Y'all this (basically) final episode i wanted Sasuke & Naruto to kiss @ the end. It was so cute. The manga was cute enough but animated omg. They deserve each other not Sakura & Hinata

And Sakura is not that bad. It just became a trend to hate her just because she wasn't gifted with a "cool" family jutsu but all the females in Naruto get treated like crap and have very few big moments.

Imo, Sakura and Naruto are the only people who understand Sasuke. Naruto just slightly more. At first it was just a physical attraction but nobody is about to die tons of times and breaks their own heart just for a cute face. Even after all the crap be did, Naruto and Sakura were the only ones who still wanted to save him. Even Ino (who we saw was obviously still liking him) gave up. Sasuke is grateful for Sakura because she never gave up and still loved her regardless.
