I'm not sure how they're going to be able to spin this? Regardless of whether Hillary is in any way actually involved in this, this latest scandal just bolsters every argument about her lack of trustworthiness, which has long been one of her campaign's biggest sticking points. It doesn't matter whether she was actually complicit in the DNC's scale-tipping, that she appears to be is her problem (and her bringing Debbo aboard for a position definitely won't help with that-- what was she thinking there?). I'm sure this story will blow over in a couple days, but the doubts this creates will linger for far longer.
Anyway, I wasn't really reacting this little scandal specifically; it's merely icing on a very tall cake. That she doesn't have this as sewn up as the Dems would have us believe has been true for some time now, but it's really only just now hitting me.

Oh well I apologize for that but still I've no problem with metaphors or similes but if you're gonna treat this thread as you do the rest of the site then I stand by my claim this isn't for you. Real life issues deserve something more than "Snake" or "Crocodile"' or "Hitlary"

You can scream "rigged" you want but the outcome is the outcome. The people chose HRC.

Bingo. Nothing changes the fact that over 3.5 million more people voted for Hill. The voters chose her, as they chose Obama in '08. The whole thing is just an example of confirmation bias for the Bernouts that were already convinced that the whole thing was rigged.

stay extra

Right? It's an absurd notion. She wants that 2nd term and isn't going to suddenly become a pseudo republican the instant she's elected.

Some of you diehard Hillary supporters are so blinded at this point you can't see the risk of Trump beating her, it is not different than the people who still think Bernie Sanders can win the nomination imo. There is a risk and people choose to act as if it is not real.
And please don't tell me, you believe she had no knowledge of this situation.
|
Do you have proof she had knowledge of this? Out of all the 20K emails not a single one was sent or received to and from Hillary's campaign or people working for her campaign

And some of y'all don't seem to be able to see that the "risk" of Trump winning is primarily created or exacerbated by actively choosing not to vote for her over things she had NO involvement in. I don't even care if she knew. I literally don't.
There's two options now. Pick one. Vote for Hillary, or let Trump win. That's literally all there is to it.

they love to call her a career politician so they should at least give her credit to know that if you want re-elected you follow through with what you campaign on
but any way to insult her i suppose

Anyway, this convention this week is gonna be LIT. She scored a big coup with the Michael Bloomberg speech and endorsement Wednesday night.
Monday night - Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Michelle Obama.
Tuesday night - Bill Clinton
Wednesday night - President Obama, Vice President Biden, Michael Bloomberg, and the next Vice President of the United States, Tim Kaine
Thursday night - Chelsea Clinton, and the next POTUS herself, Hillary Rodham Clinton
What a stark contrast to the RNC, which lacked more than half of the party's biggest stars, because of Trump's diviseness!

Honestly.
I still believe she would be a great president but the campaign has been a complete disaster all things considered, she should have sailed through to the WH when her competition is a socialist and a moron but instead we have this mess in which the only thing keeping her campaign alive is the threat of Donald Trump

there isn't a night i'm not extremely stoked for haha. this is an awesome lineup, and the bloomberg endorsement just makes it that much more sweeter.

Okay I live in Philly (the far northeast while the convention is gonna be downtown). But I can already assure you the protesting will be HUGE from Bernie supporters and other anti Hillary groups. This will not be good

Anyone advocating for Hillary to "resign" is seriously out of touch with reality.

Hopefully nothing happens. I don't think anything happened last week beside a urine-gun fight

I live in downtown, and I don't think there will be a protest bigger than the Clean Energy March today (which had some pro-Bernie elements but mostly anti-fracking). But there are definitely a decent number of BoBs milling about.

Isn't day two usually the roll call, when Hillary officially becomes the nominee? I wouldn't want to miss that.

I don't really want her to resign because I like her, but you can't blame me for being a little bit distressed at the increasing possibility of Trump in the Oval Office & quite dismayed at some of the decisions the HC campaign have made.
