Last time I checked that single went to #1 in 50 countries on iTunes. Including US, which is something she didn't accomplish with "Pretty Girls". Sooooo....

I mean you can just look at the charts and how Iggy last single just performed. Britney's song PG also stalled on radio. It doesn't take much to put 2 and 2 together, even if you don't work in the industry.

Too bad though, b/c features could save Iggy's career. But too bad big stars don't want to mess with her. Maybe she could try featuring other controversial, B-list artists. Maybe if she grovels to A. Banks she'll forgive her and do a track together. That could be huge....actually...for both of them. Especially if its hot.

3. She had ONE hit. And radio is blocking her success now. She's not that much better off than A. Banks. They getting about the same amount of radio play nowadays Here's why it would benefit Iggy...

1. Much needed but GOOD controversy. Two rivals working together on a hot ass track, would get everybody's attention. And it would be for the RIGHT reasons for both - instead of about Twitter rants (A. Banks) or her ex or being dragged for appropriating culture (Iggy).
2. It would give Iggy the much needed street cred. Face it...although A. Banks doesn't have commercial success, people respect her art and grind more than Iggy.
3. If the track is hot enough....it'll get both of them in constant rotation on radio.
4. Can you imagine a hot ass video full of high fashion, **** talking, hair slinging they would bring together?

Sometimes the very thing you don't think an artist needs, is what they actually need.

I'm pretty sure an Iggy and DJ Khaled song was out the other day.

I remember her saying in an interview that she wants to get a solo hit because all her other hits have been collabs and people say they were only hits because of the other artists.

She should've done the Work re-release, because I think it would've easily been a hit, whilst it will be harder for her to get a solo hit now imo (but not impossible).

You just say that because she's female. Nobody says anything when a Rich Homie Quan or Future single peaks at #72. And they shouldn't, it's not something that ends a career. Even female pop stars like Rihanna and Beyonce survive from Kiss It Better and Pretty Hurts. You just accept it for what it is and move onto the next single.
