They may be self contained, but the simple act of having music available in all formats in the west would only serve to strengthen their revenue streams and help establish reliable consumers who might even pay more to import special editions, or who will become a major source of streaming revenue. There's really no reason to treat the outside world like Avex and other labels do.

If international consumers don't know about an artist's music they're not going to pay to import a CD. Furthermore reports have shown that streaming accessibility is actually more conducive to buying an album after checking it out on streaming, so still no honestly.
Mirei Touyama's (aka Jasmine 2.0 aka Utada 3.0) debut album was worse than both GOLD and First Love which is unfortunate for the j-rnb and the good songs were already released. Jasmine's new feature is coming on August 24. I hope the lead single is coming soon too.
