Not only do their economic policies not work but right-wing ideology is just so hateful.
Even if it's not hating gays, it's hating the poor, immigrants, etc.
It's not a weird coincidence that the majority of right-wing politicians are homophobic.
It is representative of their core, hateful beliefs.
the only way i would agree to vote for a republican is if they supported gay rights, women's rights, pathways to citizenship, supported publicly funded programs, raised taxes to the billionares who get tax cuts out the ass, vowed to put high restrictions on guns and started to give a **** about people
Depends on how moderate they are. I tend to be a center leaning on some fiscal policies so as long as they didn't believe in like trickle down economics I'd be fine.
No. I do not agree with conservative economic ideologies.
I hate when people say "I'm socially liberal but economically conservative."
It's easy to say that but in practice, it's very hard to be both. Right wing economics hurt a lot of the people social liberals fight for.
No, the Republicans' policies still are fundamentally rooted in horrible economic beliefs and a hatred for the poor, without even touching on their issues with LGBT people, people of color, etc.
Hell no. Just because they were pro LGBT doesn't make up for the fact that they support failed conservative fiscal policies, or any other awful standard conservative positions, like being pro xenophobia.
