I go to NYU, and from what I see a lot of the staff still work in the field and aren't full-time so there's more room to get assignments and real experience. Also a lot of small e-publications focused on the city that want young people writing for them. My friend writes a bunch of clickbait under a pseudonym called like L.E. Berry and gets like 800 bux a month. Anyways idk about the actual curriculum bc I'm in Tisch and have like 0 idea what they do when ur actually learning but eh I guess most schools with good curriculums would have similarities

Most of my "serious journalism" friends all ended up writing trash clickbait lists on e-publications. A waste.
