*HDD teasing a "superstar return" shortly
*Gaga in the ad for iHeart (a bit of a reach, the interview snippet they used is from years ago)
I mean, it's not wholly unfounded at this point.
There was a similar situation last year with a free concert spot in August on GMA and it was never taken by anyone. It remained free while ALL other spots were taken and announced weeks in advance.

I feel like a lot of the popular ATRL punchlines are created by the Monsters, and then it's funny because Gaga haters pick them up and start using it themselves like "talent always wins"
I'd like her to open the VMA's and release the single digitally worldwide immediately after the performance.
See, I would love that, but it would mean she'll lose 3 days of sales tracking because the VMAs are on Sunday night. I'd rather she play it safe and release it on a Friday for a full week of tracking
