I have never liked Selena that much, but she is right, People who really believes that hagstags change something need to open their eyes.
All the #Lovewins did nothing for Orlando
#BlackLivesMatters won't change anything
All the love for Paris after what happened there, didn't stop the terrrorist attacks
Standing behind your computer won't change anything, it's fine if you are not able to do something else but it's pathetic that those people that just tweet and don't do anything at all, insult other person for not doing it
Not a single person who's part of the #blacklivesmatter movement thinks the hashtag could change anything. It is simply used to raise awareness and how important the topic is for millions of people. Selena does deserve the backlash for comparing it to the feud her friend is having with some other star.

As someone said in this post, Selena raises awareness in her concerts, so she already does this in her real life, she doesn't need to use twitter, because she has her real fans, the ones that will listen to her, listening to her at her concerts, meanwhile the haters insulting her tweet something with their 100 followers, that nobody will read or care about, and they feel that they are saving the human race.
Oh, so just because she talked about it in one of her concerts she has every right to belittle what some people do online to raise awareness by using the hashtag. Let me go to my Twitter account and post some belittling things about those who died in the Orlando shooting since I have every right to do because I've defended our pride and rights from those who have tried to talk **** about gay people in real life.
The only thing Kim will be remembered for is her sex tape. At least Selena has hit songs, platinum albums, films, respect, dignity, and awards to show for so I'm sure Selena doesn't even care about this
