Those statistics are shocking, I didn't realise how irresponsible young people are. This is what happens when people make sex out to be nothing, when its the complete opposite.

The absence of pregnancy is bound to make a lot of males (especially young) less thoughtful in terms of using condoms. It really needs to stressed in schools that gay men still have to use protection and that HIV isn't the only thing they need to worry of about.

Outside of this I think homophobic society means many gay/bi teens fall into very bad environments and self destructive behavior, hence the higher percentage of drug usage.
