Don't even give her that much credit. She served middle school play acting in both roles; Violet was well-written, but Taissa barely did her justice. Made it through by the skin of her ****ing teeth.
How is the iconic and talented Vera related to her? Did Vera suck up all the quality and talent like in the movie Twins?
Taissa only works for moody seasons while Emma only works for campy light horror seasons.
That's why Violet was Taissa's only good character as well as Emma with Madison. Taissa was terrible in Coven while Emma was terrible in Freak Show.
So basically, the final deciding point will be the theme and tone of the season. If it's more moody and dark, Taissa will excel with her moody teen angst. But if it's that fun light horror, Emma is the girl the show will need with her bitchy quips.
I reiterate: Taissa's existence doesn't work for this show. Dark and moody will be great, but I can't take another frame of her wandering around sleep-acting like a drugged-up insomniac.
I'll be happy without Emma in it if it means that glorified crash dummy stays out.
