PMQs has just been Punch and Judy: Political Edition since 1979 when Thatcher decided to do it all by herself and made it an oddly egotistic game - Theresa at least tried to give answers, unlike certain Prime Ministers.

Apart from her Angus Robertson 'drag', she did well. Jeremy needed to actually go in on Boris, I have no idea why he didn't.

And if pulling a Merkel is letting in (more) refugees from war-torn countries, I don't think it's something a lot of people are even all that opposed to as long as funding/allocation is done correctly and sensible safety masures are in place. Bluntly put, the people are concerned about lazy Polish people (their words not mine), not Syrian men, women, and children.

Yes but, do you not find it troubling that she clearly supports these homophobic people?

I'm not overly bothered by Liam Fox and such - he's scum and I'm just gonna go with the theory she's brought him in to throw him under the bus if/when Brexit goes wrong

I do think her friendship with Phillip Hammond is problematic. I have friends with problematic views who I can still get along with as it's not one of their driving motives in life, but still I'd prefer him be Chancellor than Home Secretary, but it's disappointing he's in such a high-profile position anyway. Again, I believe in karma, I wish him bad things.

As for her, she has a decent track record on equality issues - in the past she made some bad decisions but I think parts of it can be written down to collective responsibility (sad but true) and part of it can be shown as changing views to match society. I'm just gonna take her at face-value for now, much like I do with people like Hillary; her motives and such may not be pure, but it's best to accept an ally than reject one. I look forward to her domestic policies after summer.

I personally think she will soon enough but I have no idea. It's not cowardice, she just wants to get on with it rather stress-freely.

Also, she had to say yes, otherwise the whole renewal would be indefensible and her MPs and a lot of the country would crucify her, regardless of our own opinions.

Any politician confident in their appeal would be seeking their own mandate to do things how they want. Plus they have a majority of like 11 MPs. If a few tories got the cold one day the government could easily be defeated. She needs to ask the public who they support to take them towards a future outside the EU. Plus, only a vile person would eagerly admit they were OK with killing tens of millions of innocent people with the push of a button. Plummeted from a 3/10 to a 0 in my estimations in less than a week.
