James Gifford (a musician on Sony Music) posted an old picture of Avril with the caption "Darling Avril, back in the studio" and a comment on the picture saying "Avril has been in the studio. It won't be long."
Also, Gabriel Panduro (Avril's makeup artist) responded to a Facebook comment, saying "Now that she is getting better the new stuff is gonna be insane."
Let us not forget that LA Reid said he thinks we'll have new Avril music by the end of the year...
