No one is getting "mad" over this. This merely adds another detail to the already pretty clear picture that she's always been like this. This is merely another item a now pages-long list of actions that point to a very troubling pattern of egotistic, destructive behavior aimed toward anyone she sees as an adversary or competitor poised to steal attention from her.
That this has remained unchecked for so long is not surprising, but it is a bit sad all the same how her parents could have taken her to counseling or otherwise gotten her help when she was still in a somewhat "plastic" stage of life but ostensibly chose not to.
