Lady Gaga is not a bad role model. If anything she is a great role model for being an artist that takes initiative in her career. For actually writing her music and singing her songs. For showing people that hard work and staying persistent can pay off.

And if you still think she is a bad role model:

It's the parents who should take responsibility for what values their kids are getting.

Maybe parents shouldn't be letting their kids listen to certain artists in the first place if they have such a big problem with them, instead of blaming the artists themselves.

Exactly, celebrities in general should never be role models for children unless they are looking up to their music. Kids shouldn't be doing all that but like you said it's the parents fault.
