The UK House of Commons is set to vote on whether or not the UK should renew Trident i.e. it's Nuclear weapons system. apparently it costs £31billion to renew it. They are most likely going to vote yes.

But SNP need to back the **** up on this, thinking they can bully the rest of the UK in to disarming with their 50+ MPs.

All the nuclear powers would be foolish to disarm. Sad, but it is what it is.

Obviously against them. The damage they would cause wold be awful. But then again there's lots of threats that can be used by extreme countries who might end up getting Nuclear weapons somehow and you'd need something to stop those threats.

anyone who thinks that nuclear "deterrents" can be kept and used at any point under whatever politician is honestly stupid. we literally just had the chilcot report and now you want to make sure we keep nuclear weapons
