It's fine - the real test is for her to release GOOD music that the fans love, and the gp can get behind.
and Make Me is just that. If the music isn't loved, the song can't do a thing. I think Make Me is just what the gp & her fans wanted...so I see radio picking this up to be at least a moderate hit on radio, and that's the best form of promotion for Britney tbh.
Ooh La La & Pretty Girls flopped to hell because radio and gp hated them...and so did her fans.
Work Bitch was a kinda moderate hit, because her fans liked it and the gp kinda liked it, but it was NEVER gonna get any radio time because of its structure - but it's gone on to become platnium and has ok streaming numbers because despite it being polarising, people still liked it.
If the song is good, the outcome will be good...unless you're expecting multiple weeks @ #1 which is ludicrous since she has never had that since her debut.

She already skyrocketed to #1 by word of mouth within her fanbase. If she actually promoted her **** and did HALF the stuff her peers do in their dedication to furthering their career, she can STAY #1 for a long ass time.
The problem with Britney is her management and her team. There is no reason that Britney Jean Spears should be worried about sales, airplay, and longevity of any kind.
So far the only promotion she has had this era is by her damn fanbase. Her team is literally trash. LITERALLY.
