any shade from beige and below is dark for the people tbh). But yeah most Asians still think being light skinned is the standard of beauty.
I've even heard a term 'black beauty'

and that's just for being brown skinned.
Tho in contrast, I've heard comments like: "she/he is just light skinned. See if she gets darker she won't look that pretty/handsome."
