A few years ago I would have been pressed probably. But now... Both girls delivered (especially Britney) great songs. Who cares about charts in 2 years (besides D.M.F)? What stays is a good song which I enjoy and that is the most important thing.
Lol it's just a fact and Britney is also opening with bad numbers.
Pretty darn stable from where she came from though
And it's not like she had a bunch of support like Katy did. Not blaming Katy for promo, I'm just blaming Britney's damn team for their blatant incompetence as usual
Now where are all the Katy Kats who called Gaga's Applause a flop? A mess, a kii and a cackle @ Cheap Thrills still having selling power over these two.
Rise just isn't up to the standard of her previous lead singles. People know and love Katy for her feel-good bops perfect for playing at parties. You play this at a party and you're getting punched.
...but our fave isn't reffered to as the ''digital queen'', a title that should really be given to T Swift.

Our faves aren't the so called "Digital Queen" though. That was the one thing Katy had going for her, her singles sales/success. No acclaim, no Grammys, but she had the big sales and big hits. Now it looks like she may not even have that anymore. Poor ha.
I don't know who told you this, but the digital queen is Rihanna
People ignoring the fact that Cheap Thrills is actually a sleeper hit, Sia continues to surprise me in every era (last era with Elastic Heart). Just give Make Me and Rise more time
