I'm pretty open-minded and will listen to anything I'm recommended or that interests me regardless of genre, but I tend to struggle with few of the sub-genres of metal the most.

Metal, definitely. I struggle with anything under the "rock" umbrella, but I love alternative and can power through some rock classics. The sub-genres of metal though... no.

I like me some metal but the most extreme types, like blackened death metal for instance, are a bit too much for me.
