Say a zombie apocalypse hits the world tomorrow. You wake up, go online, and read nothing but cries of help from people online who are trapped in countries completely overrun by zombies. How long can you survive?

A week? A month? 3+ months? Years and years?

Assume a few things for the sake of discussion:

-You are acting alone. Your family/friends are not in the equation (again, for the sake of discussion..since it complicates things)

- The virus is only spread through physical bites.

-Transformation period is under a day, and as of right now there are no "100% zombie proof shelters" anywhere. The police, government, everything is overrun.

Literally less than an hour. I'd go out and try to make an alliance with people I thought I was friendly with and get my ass beat

I'd probably die immediately.

I'd kill myself within the first week.

I'll just kill myself.

I will survive until they're eliminated

Longer than most people, I think

1. I know how to use hand guns and rifles
2. Combat skills (Taekwondo brown belt)
3. Outdoor survival knowledge
4. Medical background
5. Heartless

My eyesight would be a problem, I'm pretty much blind without glasses or contact lenses..

I ain't making alliances with anybody

That's the ONE lesson I learnt from The Walking dead

I would find a Daddy like Rick so he can protect me



And then i would pull a Carol

Yeah, realistically I'd just kill myself

You'd have the guts to like, karate chop a zombie? Slay

I'd just stay locked up in my house, so however long it takes for zombies to break in.

I have the instinct and reflex to fight and defend at least, and those skills would be very useful when fighting other survivors.

I have watched every episode of The Walking Dead and almost every zombie movie made in the last 20 years...
I've also played Zombie games like Left 4 Dead, Dying Light and Dead Rising etc..

So you think I would be stupid enough to not use a melee weapon?

I wouldn't be too cocky and arrogant though, that's how you get killed...

Having read the Andes Survivors story just yesterday, I'm prepared to survive for at least two months!

Dead people turn into zombies very fast, there would not be much fresh meat for you to eat.
You'd have to kill people for fresh meat.
