I don't exactly disagree with her, but until races are treated equally then they aren't equal so this 'can't we all just get along' crap doesn't exactly work
There is no defense for what she said, as it was nonsensical. She thought it would be cute to throw black people under the bus to pander to her white audience, and it backfired. The only reason why she tried to backtrack and clean it up was because there weren't enough white people in the audience nodding in agreement or laughing. Wendy had the nerve to fix her mouth and try to front like HBCUs are problematic or an affront to whites because they are just that, historically black. They do not divide any races, nor do they cater to blacks exclusively. HBCUs and the NAACP had nothing to do with Jesse Williams' speech, she just brought up those organizations and picked on them because they involve blacks. What next, Black History Month is racist? Bet her coon ass won't come for BET as long as they keep airing her show on the network and she keeps getting those checks.

I don't understand why she would say what she did. I mean, what have HBCU's done besides open the door for many minorities who were getting turned away by white institutes? How could you even fix your mouth to insult their creation and purpose?

People being offended by HBCUs. Like, do you know American history at all? Do you know when and why they were established?
Is she in prison? She has the freedom to say what she said. Just like companies have the freedom to associate with and sponsor/spend money on whoever they want. You have this right too.
