I'm not justifying the killings of innocents even though y'all will probably accuse me anyway, but if the statistics for black-on-black crime are truly that high then perhaps the source of the issue lies there too? I feel the movement should be addressing this source as much as police brutality, because I bet you they are heavily linked.

Can you explain to me how black on black crime and police brutality against blacks are linked? Walk me through your thought process.
Also, you're assuming that the Black community isn't worried about gun/gang violence or "black on black crime". Your assumption is false. Cease Fire, Cure Violence, Boys and Girls Club and many other groups are focused on preventing these crimes within their communities. BLM is about the police officers who take innocent lives and don't face consequences. (Consequences those involved in "black on black crime" do face.) And just because someone is involved in BLM doesn't mean they don't also care and try to prevent violence in their community. We can care about 2 social issues that effect us at once. Shocking, right?
People who bring up "black on black crime" are trying to create a diversion from the very real issues BLM is trying highlight.
This isn't a hard concept to grasp, truly. Like Toya said, please research and be informed before speaking on an issue you aren't educated about.
Also, that cop is an uncle tom, pay him no mind.
