Quote:
Canadian singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen has recorded new material with Miike Snow’s Pontus Winnberg.
The Swedish hitmaker recently helmed “Love is What You Want” and “Do-Si-Do,” taken from Peter Bjorn and John’s latest album “Breakin’ Point,” now available via INGRID / Kobalt / Warner Sweden.
As one-half of Bloodshy & Avant, Winnberg co-wrote and produced songs for Britney Spears (“Toxic”), Christina Milian (“AM to PM”), Kylie Minogue (“Speakerphone”) and Madonna (“Like It or Not”).
Meanwhile, Jepsen is expected to release her fourth studio collection – featuring further contributions from Noonie Bao and Patrik Berger – later this year through School Boy Records and Interscope Records.
The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2015’s “E.MO.TION,” which peaked to number sixteen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “I Really Like You” and “Run Away With Me.”
