I'd say it's possible given that Katy's song is being billed and marketed as an Olympics single while Britney's is a true lead single with a radio deal. I can't say I think it's likely, but it's possible.

And if it does, that would be a pretty significant showing for Britney while not being bad for Katy at all since this isn't really a lead. Everybody wins.

I don't care about what's important for her commercially, the song is a freaking bubblegum tragedy. I don't obsess over this Tinashe. I'm not followed on Twitter by this Tinashe. I don't have every song released by this Tinashe. I like it a lot, I'll probably end up replaying it even more than Make Me, but it's not what I needed from her, as a fan of her actual work. Maybe it'll grow on my, I don't know, but I knew this was coming when I saw that single cover and I can't help but be disappointed no matter how well-made it is.
