But holy hell at all of the blatant ignorance and naïveté in this thread. But I guess I shouldn't expect better from a bunch of uneducated teenagers. The islamophobia is not cute, y'all need to stop with that, it is just feeding into the hate that is so pervasive in the world today. 99% of Muslims do not agree with this violence, and are just as appalled by it as you. And they are the ones with the most deaths and attacks being inflicted upon them, in the Middle East, but I guess that doesn't matter, because to you, they're out of sight, out of mind.
This madness needs to stop, but we know it never will This is breaking my heart, I hope the injured recover and that the victims rest in peace, why France is what I will never understand, is it because there is a lot of Muslims living there?
well exactly , but it's kinda egregious to say 'Islam' spread by sword and wars when literally every religion (probably not Buddhism) has done that in some way
I was referring specifically at Islam in that post though. Anyways, most of who usually commit these kinds of horrific acts happen to be muslims.
I legit just burst out in tears watching some of these videos, when will it stop. I'm so angry, frustrated, saddened by it all. Why is the world going to hell and I'm just an innocent bystander trying to understand why. Like what can I do to make this stop.
In short: Islam is the biggest threat to peace in the world right now. Lets not dispute or argue that. It needs to be reform, and the groups within Islam attempting to reform it need to have support from people outside of the religion. In the 1930s, Christian groups and certain messages coming out of Christianity was by far the biggest threat. It's not about hating Islam: its about being realistic.
This is absolutely terrible, and that is a debate for another day.
State of Emergency extended for three months (October?), 10,000+ mobilised to be deployed, as well as other means of attack and defence on its borders. Will continue to retaliate against those that attack France, after its third major incident in just over a year.
