I hate to keep going on, but I'm still watching this rally and I'd like to know how Hillary can sit there and actually think this would make a good ticket.

Hillary needs to pick Kaine. Both he and Mike Pence have a lot of government experience, Governors, Senators, and both were on foreign affairs committees. Kaine is likeable IMO, and will contrast Mike Pence so well.

Well you know Trump himself doesn't actually want Pence. His family talked him into it.

It has nothing to do with my personal dislike of Kaine on the ticket as much as it has to do with the fact that his speech today was awful.

Maybe Christie ha spotlight is coming. All three choices are bad though: one big mouth and two scandalized Governors.

I don't mind if she picks Kaine.

Just don't pick a Senator from a GOP governor. No Warren, Brown or Booker (despite my love for all 3).

The 2016 GOP platform already pushed the party into the Stone Age, having Pence there would make it veer so far-right it'll crash into a ditch.

I'd love to see Pence and Warren debate.

State special election laws would allow for Dems to keep Warren's seat.

I need to watch it, but at the end of the day it's going to be Kaine, Warren, or Perez.

I personally would be satisfied with either one. But it depends on what's most important for the election and Hillary. Warren would bring excitement, but too much excitement could be dangerous for her. Kaine would actually be good in debates with Pence and will show steadiness and tempermant. He could do a good job bringing in white voters, secure a Virginia win, and apparently he's helped her raised tons of money during fundraisers in the primary. But yes he is a little boring. Perez, IMO, would be like a mix of both, and I actually see him being a better option, but he lacks the name recognition and the experience the former two has.

For the millionth time, there will be a special election a couple of months after she gives up her seat. Plus Joe Kennedy would likely run for it, which would be an easy victory.
