Dying in general scares me, but dying in a painful manner would be the worst. I think being murdered, burned alive, or dying in a vehicular crash would be my Top 3. They're all pretty bad. I can't choose just one.
To be honest dying of cancer or of some hideous degenerating disease that slowly ruins your life over years. Far far worse than something over in minutes.
I'm most afraid of dying from a disease or infection that I don't even know I have. Like one day you're fine then the next day you're dead for no reason
Plane crashes would be terrifying since I have a fear of falling I used to have a terrible fear of flying on planes just because of that

Tbh I'd rather die of disease than a quick, painful death, since with a disease you'll still have the opportunity to say goodbye to your loved ones
Anything that I myself don't initiate to be honest. That doesn't necessarily mean I'm suicidal FYI, I'd just be so much more comfortable choosing when and how I die and technically suicide does check both of those boxes.
Or roasting
this is why I want to be cremated I don't want to risk getting trapped in a coffin.
