I don't think Mariah has anything against Ariana, Mimi loves r&b chicks a lot, she probably loves Ari too. That "shade" (which wasn't really shady) she did was when Ariana only had her first album out and it was filled mostly with pop songs.

Her second and third album are more pop than her first album though.
