Because little monsters became little monsters due to her emphasis on talent, her vision/control over her work. Britney is a good dancer but her career has always been about looks, not talent. And she has almost no vision/control over her work. I love her as a person though.

I've been a Britney stan nearly as long as I've been a GaGa stan, but the Army on here really make it hard with their GaGa obsession.

Considering how not 5 years ago, they were boasting about their fave being the biggest star on the planet and how Britney was a washed up has-been and now Gaga is in the same boat (as she now is more interested in recording jazz duet albums and raising cattle than furthering her pop career), it's quite obvious why they have such resentment for Britney.

This. I've grown up loving Britney, but it's hard with the handful of Britney fans on here obsessed with hating Gaga, like they're holding a grudge.

It's the other way around, in fact.

Nicole, Bounce, Ramos, Amenhooker, just to name a few of the LMs who post quite vile stuff about Britney on a daily for way too long.

Not a fan of Britney, but even outside of SYG a Monster went that far to claim that her breakdown was a promo stunt (Prince High). And we have seen it even in this thread on the previous page.

So, the dedication from Britney stans to come after Monsters came after the mental illness jokes that were going on for way too long, which is the lowest of the low.

And, I mean, the irony of it all: Monsters who are so sensitive when it comes to jokes about certain topics go all out on Britney
