Not really at all, because even if Bey made it a point to talk about how different the low key "I Am..." side of the album is, everyone (aside from her hardcore fans who have known about Sasha for years) assumed this Sasha Fierce character and her respective side of the album must have represented something new. If Sasha has always been there and they didn't use the Sasha moniker to try and pass this album off as this new identity coming forward and producing something new and profound, why they hell did they bother to mention her at all? Don't be so blind to think that they didn't they realized they could get people to think that Beyonce had somehow progressed artistically, because the general public wasn't aware of Sasha's presence prior to 2008 and they did plenty to make Sasha seem like it was this radically new thing.
