Eh, yes and no.

The consumption of too much and a lack of proper sex education can result in negative understanding and knowledge about sex itself. It's like watching Fast & Furious to learn how to drive.

Also, the over-consumption of too much has been linked to body issues/miseducation for women and gay men (obviously regarding gay adult films) about their bodies, genitals, etc. and body dysmorphia.

The idea of watching people have sex on film is harmless, but then picks up the already existing issues in our society (sexism/racism/body dysmorphia).

**** is terrible for society, it desensitizes young boys, gives them unrealistic expectations of sex and intimacy, makes them see women only as sexual objects. videos containing rape fantasies and bondage and seeing women beaten and hurt is terrible for society
plus the women in these films are treated horribly, some of them get into drugs and self harming because of the mental and emotional toll it has on them, its also really hard to get out of the industry and make a new life for yourself, especially finding a new job afterwards.
