There's no doubt in my mind that the single is ready to go if it's projected for an August release. There's no point in delaying it, especially since this is the most relevant she's been socially since the Super Bowl.
I really think she has a shot at the Grammys with this next era cycle tbh. If she releases the lead before October, which she better, what's her competition? "Hello" will obviously get noms in ROTY and SOTY but it probably won't win both (if either). And there haven't been any really massive Rap-Sung collabs this year (unless Work/One Dance count?) so if she did have a rapper feature she'd be in for a serious shot imo.
EDIT: I forgot about the Rap/Sung rule change, so songs like "Stressed Out" and "Ride" can probably get nominated. Sticking with a solo song might be best.
