I was researching haunted houses in the midwest and discovered this "experience" called Blackout (not the Britney album hihi) and stumbled upon numerous extreme haunted houses I can't even believe exist
These are just summaries from my research in the past few hours.
Blackout
In New York and LA, you're rushed into a dark room by someone and then go through numerous rooms by the hands of someone else or with no other choice. Extremities include walking on "used" condoms, simulated sexual assault, eating a bloody tampon, waterboarding, and being otherwise touched and licked by the actors (the sets change a lot each year).
The Victim Experience
In Las Vegas, The Victim Experience puts you through physical and psychological torture meant to degrade and humiliate. Fighting back in any way will result in being ejected from the experience and only 20% survive without using the safe word. Extremities include being stripped naked, electrocuted, beaten, and having a bloody ***** shoved down your throat ().
Alone: An Existential Haunting
In LA, this "haunted house" deletes normal haunted house tropes and focuses on psychological horror, putting you in situations where basic human psychological conflicts are tested. You're led through the experience by someone else, sometimes being forced with a hood over your head, and your senses are exploited for maximum intensity.
McKamey Manor
In San Diego, this 8 hour "tour" takes you through numerous torture **** scenarios and there is no safe word; the creator has been sued by a "victim" of this. Just... watch the video.
Have you done any of these? Would you? I would LOVE to try Alone and Blackout, maybe The Victim Experience just to see how far I could make it (people say it's really rewarding to "survive") but never ****ing McKamey Manor
I wouldn't call some of these haunted hauses they're literally torture chambers. and SERIOUSLY eating a "bloodied" tampon vile, even if it wasn't real.
I had a friend that went to the Mckamey one he didn't talk for a day and even after he said he couldn't describe what happened in detail because he signed a form before entering
also two years ago there was a girl who actually posted a video describing her experience, but it got taken down
never in hell would I go to that **** show. blackout seems cool tho
I've done Blackout in New York and it's utter inSANITY. Unbelievably well-acted/designed, so it really makes you forget you're not actually in any danger or doing anything truly disgusting.

Omg I wanna do it this year was it hard to get your ticket?
They're releasing a documentary called The Blackout Tapes on the 22nd about it
Why the **** would anyone pay for the McKamey one? What exactly is appealing about going to a haunted house where you get physically tortured for EIGHT ****ing hours? How is that even legal?
