The fact that she's mentioned prove that she is influential because MJ overshadowed everyone but she still had a big career. I know Janet seems local next to MJ but you cannot deny her impact, you just cannot.

i never heard of this "mariah carey is a legend" thingy outside ATRL. i mean yeah i did read sometime ago at the BET website that she's a "R&B legend" but idk. i dont think she deserves that credential.
