I want Warren. Warren is the best shot at being able to add validity with the progressive left to Hillary's adopted progressive stances.

We all know neither Trump nor Hillary are picking the generals on their lists, Trump is obviously going to pick either Pence or Gingrich, and Hillary seems to be between Kaine and Warren, though she won't be announcing her pick til later next week, as opposed to Trump, who'll be announcing his pick in the next few days.

Though with Kaine saying the other day that he doesn't think he's the pick, it's looking like it has to be Warren at this point.

Yes because Bernie is so corrupt for supporting the candidate that shared a lot of his views initially and is willing to go even further in implementing areas of his own platform.

EDIT: Hillary will pick either Tim Kaine or Tom Perez. She wants that Senate majority. And now she wants that foreign policy experience.

Tim Kaine: Can help with swing state of Virginia, but is safe with Dem replacement. Generally a "moderate" candidate, but actually has sided with progressives on a lot of issues, has a long record - Mayor, Lieutenant Gov., Governor, Chair of DNC, Senator. On foreign relations committee. Was in 2nd place behind Joe Biden for VP in '08. Can bring some balance to the toxic two tickets. Good relationship with Hillary.

Tom Perez: Progressive record. Was Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights. US Secretary of Labor who can bring in unions and working middle class voters. Hispanic heritage can bring in those voters. Has a personal relationship with the Clintons. Energetic.

That is not VP material. I don't why this guy gets so much hype.

You're clearly asleep because what Bernie did was more complicated than that. He was never going to win the nomination so he's opted to endorse the best candidate in pushing some of his key policies. It's funny how I've been following politics for less than a month and I understand that idealism never works in politics. Pragmatism is what gets you places.

Well he's on the Top 5 list so obviously Hillary and her team disagree. He's just as qualified as Elizabeth, but safer.

I mean he was in the Justice and Labor department. So I would assume he has knowledge on the economy and domestic issues dealing with justice and law. Having chemistry and helping turn out voters is also critically important, and is the only reason people wanted Bernie or Elizabeth. He could actually do it without bringing some issues to the ticket.

Of course his biggest issue is foreign policy, but that may not end up a big priority. Depending on Trump's VP, it will be him or Kaine I feel. Warren might have to stay in the Senate.

EDIT: Yeah Xavier is another one to watch for. It's one of the three imo.

A Senate majority (which every model has said is possible) is more important than a two woman ticket or trying to get progressives. The people who aren't coming on board after Warren and Bernie's endorsement is a lost cause at this point.

For me, its going to be between Kaine and Beccerra.
