Sen. Bernie Sanders endorsed Hillary Clinton and said that he will do "everything I can to make certain" she wins the 2016 presidential election.
"Secretary Clinton has won the Democratic nominating process and I congratulate her for that," Sanders said, after being interrupted by applause.
"I have come here to make it as clear as possible as to why I am endorsing Hillary Clinton and why she must become our next president," Sanders said.
While his endorsement earned major applause throughout the New Hampshire venue, there was also a group of Sanders supporters who walked out in protest, one of whom was holding a sign that read "nope."

Great. Sanders gave a good endorsement. I'm really happy we can all move on and hold a united front against Trump and the policies that Republicans are currently considering for their platform (those proposals for LGBT individuals were absolutely appalling and are something everyone should be grossed out over). Hillary has an All-Star team backing her up. If she makes it past this election, I'm excited to see what the Democratic Party will do being this united. I hope Bernie's grassroots supporters will continue to vote in the midterms, it might just be his greatest legacy if they stay inspired. I pray for good times soon.
I will say though, he ran a very impressive campaign and his supporters should be proud of the amount of change he brought to the Democratic Party's platform and in being able to push Hillary's official stances more to the left.
The eye-rolls if his supporters do pull an 'anyone but Hillary' protest vote. Dividing the democratic support hands Trump and the Republicans the country. You can't pull that crap in a two party election.
It's how the Tories got in power in the UK when Scotland protest voted SNP, causing Labours support to split. And now we're leaving the EU.
I hope Bernie calls out this daft logic to stop any reckless spitefulness.
