Threads like this are stupid. Her, Beyonce and Adele are already ABOVE the main pop girl status. They're power in this industry has been undeniable. The other's can stick with their Kid's Choice Awards meanwhile within the last year, Gaga bagged a Grammy, Golden Globe, Emmy nomination, Oscar nomination, critically acclaimed awards for acting, song writing, etc. and is coming for Emmy nomination(s) and possibly win(s) this year.

I never said that the song was a hit. Everyone knew that the song would flop with her old flop manager, which made a lot of us fume. It deserved a decent promo and a music video, it would have been a hit.

I don't think anyone is denying that ARTPOP underperformed? But to act like it flopped on the level of BJ is ridiculous. It was #1, sold around 2 million, and had 2 hit singles. You keep bringing up other artists as if that matters.
The fact that ARTPOP, with the receipts that it has, is considered some colossal flop by some of you is reason enough that she's a main pop girl. You guys have extremely high standards for her.

And she's far from irrelevant she's done some very high profile things over the past year or so and has gained more respect than ever.
