Just looked at the past few pages. I think Nicki can talk about social issues and still have it "NICKI". For example, Here I Am and LAN. Even songs like Hood Story and N.I.G.G.A.S. Or videos like Your Love which has a message about giving your all to a man while not taking control of your own life.
There are ways to get your message across through storytelling while still keeping your artistry. She just has to be willing to do it right.
