Why do people flaunt grief to others just for pity?
Don't you just hate how people grieve for pity? On social media they post a series of poems and letters on how much they have been grieving lately. I think they just do it for attention and publicity. Its disgusting how people rely on hysteria to gain pity from others. whatever
Most people do it for attention. In this digital social media age that is what is on everyone's mind. Very few are doing it for true humble reasons.
The worst thing is when they take pics of their deceased relative or friend and post it on social media. So obvious they're doing it for likes. Shameless.
They want people to be supportive and to be there for them. Or maybe they just need to articulate their thoughts somewhere. It depends on who's posting it.
i feel like sometimes it can be a cry for help in a way, they want people to reach out so they don't feel alone, but they don't want to outright say thats what they want.
i don't really have a problem with it because it's usually just people coping with whatever they're going through.
