Britney (1998-2016) has sold 84m albums and 100m singles. Beyoncé (1997-2016) has sold 70m albums and 145m singles.

I would've said Britney was more successful before, but now Beyoncé is selling out stadiums all over the world possibly earning $400m from the Formation World Tour and Britney is dong well in her Vegas Residency, but nothing too extraordinary. What do you think? Is Britney stil more successful than Beyoncé?

I would say Beyonce is bigger than Britney however, I don't think Britney WANTS the huge success again. She's been there, done that and I think because she had it so much, so quickly she's pretty much over it. If she WANTED that Primeney success again, then I think she could and she could perform in stadiums if she wanted to and pushed for it.

She seems happy to be in Vegas so I'm happy.

Well she's more successful NOW. However, Britney had a higher peak and Beyoncé won't ever be as successful/popular as Britney was 99-03. But in the long run Beyoncé has become a bigger name because of her longevity. Self-Titled's success vs. Britney Jean really proved that.

People can quit acting like Britney's career halted in 2004. Especially any fans of Rihanna since she helped your girl get another one of those #1s you lot brag about. Britney was having success right until the mess that was 2013.

Obviously Beyonce is more successful right now. Britney doesn't even care about success - why is fair to compare an artist who wants to be on top of the world with someone who doesn't?

The only objective thing Britney has over Beyoncé is album sales. Beyoncé is above Britney in everything else and especially the best measure to compare their stats which is monetary gross. Thanks for your opinion, NEMO.
