It has always been like this. Wake up damn it. Why people are people acting like we just discovered violence. It's everywhere expet that we used to not hear about it Now we have internet and all. Plus, we're growing up and we understand more.
People are gettin killed everyday in parts of the world we don't hear of.
The only thing surprising and ****ed up is that the US let this happen in their country The US that consider themself the best and most civilized country in the world.
Having kids in this world is honestly selfish. I'm so ****ing mad because people act sad 5mins and then they move on. Like educate yourself and educate your kids. You can change the future, ****.
This world has become a sh**** sh**** place unfortunately.
Actually, the world has become a less shittier shittier place. Violence has been present in the world for as long as humanity existed. The further you go back in history the more violent the times and the more frequent the incidence of violence were. But violence has been declining for centuries and years now. We are actually living in the most peaceful time in history. The nature of violence today is much more isolated into comparatively very rare incidences of violence among civilians, compared to the very large scale instances of warfare and genocide just last century alone. This is already the most peaceful the world has ever gotten.
Religious extremism, Right-Wing populism, the left lost its way, too much freedom (freedom without boundaries), morals dying out and a weak political landscape/parties at least in my country but the US doesn't look much better with Donald Trump and the other two. The result is instability. The western world needs to find a middle ground.
Mess the world was way more violent hundreds of years ago also in the US just 60 years ago all minorities were treated like trash and it was accepted. The only reason you know about every incident in the world is because of the internet. without it you would barely even hear of all these things happening.
Evil is taking over. People stopped using their minds and let other people's opinions and ideals define them.
Certain people want power and control over the world, and we give it to them regardless of their intentions and actions.
I could go on forever. WE ARE THE CHANGE. The average person.
stuff like this, and worse, has always happened in the world. worse stuff happens in other parts of the world.
but it was not that long ago it was worse. i mean tell some WW2 veterans that it's worse now. or Bosnian or Rwandian adults. or what the hell, the american natives back in 1500-1800's, and african slaves. altho it feels like the honour has somewhat diminished compared to the 40's, and also we get every bad thing wired and publicised every second on everyone's smartphone, you notice stuff more now.
and the religiously motivated ultra-violence has increased in impact, and that IS scary, because with just a person saying what to do, u can kill it off by killing him/her. a supposed deity is much worse
