You can be against police brutality without being against the police. You can be for Black people without being against white people. And just because you share a random "love all people" meme, it doesn't mean you're #woke. It's still tacit compliance if you're not sharing the reality of your Black friends with the bewildered white people around you. Don't have this conversation with Black people for that seal of approval; have it with the white people who need to hear it. We speak their language. Remove the "yo" if you must.
And to every reality TV star, white rapper, pop star using rap hands and business owner who pushes products influenced by Black culture, you need to come forward now. Because while imitation is the highest form of flattery, you have the privilege not to imitate the death scenes over a broken tail light. Keep that in mind.

The people who have a problem with the #BlackLivesMatter movement are the people who are afraid that POC will overtake their white privilege.

Exactly. You can't say you LIVE for Black Culture and continually use it as inspiration but when the REAL issues arrive, you back down because you're afraid you might loose your white privilege. THAT'S the issue.

Shut the **** up you stupid **** and read it again. 'Black people can't use electricity because a white man made it' get the **** out of here, you know for a fact it isn't the same. Also, this doesn't say white people can't partake in hip-hop/rap/R&B/urban music and culture, but rather that if they do so they need to speak up about the atrocities committed against the community instead of just the music and videos and culture and fashion.

you totally missed the entire point, the writer isn't forbidding anything they are simply saying that if you can indulge in what's consider our culture then you could be there when we need you the most.
Same thought process for people who say they love the gay community and their contributions but decide to not support any of their movements.
