It doesn't have to be explicitly stated, it's learned through how our society functions and operates. And it duplicates itself from generation to generation. And this cycle is what protects and allows Whites to enjoy the privilege that they have. It conditions white people from the time they are born (especially white males) to believe they are God's gift to the world and they are entitled to whatever they want to do.

Considering racism didn't exist until the Trans-Atlantic slave trade yes it is taught, however, I will admit it's human nature to be weary of people different than you because before racism was a wide spread thing people discriminated based on ethnicity/nationality/religion things that are still discriminated against today, but it's all still learned because a child doesn't grow up knowing why someone is different from them until it's explained.
