Bennett has great plans for the future, including a book collaboration with NPR’s Scott Simon tentatively titled “Just Getting Started.” It is about the various people who have influenced Bennett during his lifetime, including Abraham Lincoln, Frank Sinatra and Lady Gaga.
But the man who has done it all still has one person he wants to work with: “the great Beyonce.” They recently met at the Grammy Awards, and he said, “She has explained to me that she would like to do something with me, so that is going to happen.”
