She's not releasing music, she's not attending award shows, she's not doing magazine covers, interviews. Etc. all this publicity is a result of her personal life, which isn't exactly something she should "put on hold" -- and rightfully so

Whether she's releasing music or not, she has not "taken a break" in any sense of the word. People DO need a break from her, but yet she's shoving this PR relationship down our throats. Her "personal life"
is her public life, at least as long as she chooses to date and write songs about it, along with releasing all these staged "paparazzi" photos.
Maybe our definitions of "taking a break" are completely different.
