This! I keep saying ATRL is like Storm Front lite with a pop music spin and it has YET to prove me wrong. It's days like today that make me wonder why I still even come here tbh.

Respectfully disagree. If a jury of his peers find him innocent beyond a reasonable doubt then he is fine. The criminal system isn't pushed by the media. Literally, that badge gives him protection from jail unless a jury of his peers (Louisiana allows 6-12 men juries) finds that he did not act reasonable. If he acted reasonably he is free, if not convicted. Simple as that.

But honestly, off the video, I don't know if there is enough to charge him with. It would have to be a strong jury against cops to get him convicted.

I found the video of this on facebook more disturbing than anything I'd seen in a while. Really disgusting.

True, but the way it manifests itself differs from country to country. People from other countries can read all the huffington post articles they want but they will never truly understand how racism manifests itself in the US unless they've lived here for some time now...hell even then people still won't know. You have tons of white Americans who have no clue and still believe racism is dead.

And it did. But people will still find a way to justify the cop's behavior. You can do everything right and still get murdered solely because you're black.

We are still online so yeah some people here are reacting in a silly/racist way to separate themselves from the crowd and be different or whatever. It's the norm on the internet tbh.. Regarding this particular situation there isn't much to debate about, the video is explicit enough, It sucks, the cops historically have the feeling that they are above the law and can do anything to minorities and people they viewed as lesser, it does suck but it won't stop so
The way America handle these killings is astonishing to me, the US is a funny place. Tomorrow there will be a new case and so on

The responsible action would be to remove the gun. 2 police officers vs 1 man no question they could have disarmed him
