Its just taking care of yourself and putting the best version of you out there.
It may not be for everyone but saying only a certain gender can do it is completely ignorant.
The tampon comment was just a joke itself, that person cannot be taken seriously.
No one said makeup = eyeshadow, false lashes and liquid lipstick (although thats fine) but most men don't do that. They just cover their blemishes and enhance any features they have (like their cheekbones or nose bridge)
