I was asked to clean the bathroom after some old guy **** everywhere and I told the manager no.

He said he would fire me if I didn't do it before the store closed (in half an hour)

I never did it and came in the next day and it was all cleaned up. The cleaners must have done it.

They didn't pay me enough for that...and it was everywhere but the toilet

I gave someone's cat an overdose of hydromorphone and sent it into shock. Luckily it didn't die and we didn't tell the owner what happened. Noodles went home like a champ and lives a full active lifestyle, while it was literally on its 9th life in the OR and the owner none the wiser. Happy ending for all!

I broke dozens of glasses when I was a busboy. Not at once (okay maybe a dozen at one time) so it wasn't like I knocked over a shelf. I just have a bad back and the weight got to me at times.

It pays to be gorgeous. Everyone there was attractive because the owner only wanted attractive people working there. But I was above and beyond

I'm a research assistant and one of my major jobs is to genotype the mice so that we know which ones to use for experiments. Well one day I forgot to label tubes before I put them in a spinner and I don't know which side was which. I continued and forgot about that. 3 months laters we tried to use the mice for an important experiment but it didn't work because the mice were suppose to be the kind that have cells that fluoresce naturally under a microscope but I ****ed up and they were all just wild type mice and you couldn't see anything

Also one time I thought I housed two male mice for an experiment months later but it turned out one was a female and when we went to do the experiment baby mice were in the cage everywhere and you had to use virgin mice


I never got fired though somehow, and got awesome scores for my performance review

I used to steal food from McDonald's all the time, had my coworkers hookup my lunch orders with special/extra toppings. If I was making the food for customers and saw a friend waiting in line, I would text them and asked if they wanted their order specially made with extra stuff. I ended up quitting after about 6 months though, **** job.

When I was ringing up a customer, she made a return and I sat the dress on the counter next to me, so the next customer came and I put her clothes on top and accidentally gave her the returned dress so she got a new dress for free but I never told anyone

I deliberately refused to take a table meant for me very late 25 minutes before the closing time as a server in a restaurant (closing servers are supposed to take late tables, not me)
I didn't tell anybody and didn't come to the table for 20 minutes
Then the manager found out
She said she would have fired me if I didn't work for the company for a long time (3 years lol)

Glowsticks were supposed to sell 3 for a dollar...

I was selling 1 for three dollars accidentally.
