I came so close to getting one of those huge ****ing tribal tatts on my back when it was all the rage, how embarrassing it would be if I did. I think personal tatts are cute, but trendy ones are a big no-no.
Some jobs won't even consider you with a visible tattoo.
They've been around for a long time and will continue to be. I don't think they've ever been "cool" or not cool. More conservative peoole have been against them in the past, sure, but that's about it.
Not really, atlhough there are some tattooes that are decent and pretty, I like for example a tattoo of Kelly Clarkson who has a snowflake tattooed behind her ear, that's nice and she can easily cover it with hair. But for example one of my colleagues have a lizard on her leg and that's hideous af.
I've never seen them as cool and I think it's stupid to get them because you think they are cool/will make you look cool. They are not a fashion accessory, they should have a meaning for the person who wears them.
